Jason Cameron has a comprehensive background in Australia's national news media having written, produced and presented news, current affairs, series and documentaries for all television networks. Throughout his broadcasting career, Jason has interviewed political leaders including Kevin Rudd, John Howard, Paul Keating, Bob Hawke and Malcolm Fraser; national business leaders, entertainment legends and sporting heroes. Four years as anchor of the Ten Network’s Morning News gave him constant exposure to the cut and thrust of Canberra politics through daily live interviews with politicians of all persuasions. Broadcast credits include Producer-Presenter-Interviewer: 11.30 Morning News, Ten Network; Anchor: Live Rolling Coverage of major events at Thredbo & Port Arthur, Ten Network; Foreign Correspondent: National Nine News Rwanda; Court Reporter: Fitzgerald Inquiry, Seven Network Brisbane; founding series producer & host of Business Success, independently produced for the Nine Network as an information resource for small and medium business. Jason established Quotable Communications almost a decade ago and has since developed and delivered training programs for professions, business and government covering presentation skills, interview technique and communications strategy. Recent clients have included top tier law firms in Sydney, Melbourne and Hong Kong; professional service firms, major IT and construction firms, leading surgeons, medical researchers, management teams preparing for IPO’s and heads of government departments. As an independent media producer and consultant, Jason has project-managed major multi-media productions for corporate and government clients and provides strategic advice on media and community relations. He acts as MC and Facilitator at special events and conferences including Pathways to Rural Leadership - Canberra 2007; Melbourne International Venture Capital Conference - 2006; Official Launch Toorak Place with Peter Costello - Melbourne 2005; Australian Best Insurer Awards - Sydney 2004. Jason supports the National Boys Choir of Australia, well known for their award winning Qantas commercials, by providing communications advice and hosting their annual concerts at Monash University and the Victorian Arts Centre. |
